Biosound is the American subsidiary of Esaote, an Italian based company established in the early 80™s and one of the largest ultrasound manufacturers worldwide. Esaote is dedicated to the musculoskeletal market with high quality ultrasound scanners and MRI systems for imaging knee, shoulder and extremities.
What is the advantage of having Trapezoidal view?
Trapezoid Imaging is an imaging mode for expanding the field of view of ultrasound images, offering an improved overview and more diagnostic information in one image. It will also minimize blind area™s during injection procedures.
Do I need B-steer ?
Yes, B-Steer will provide clear tissue and needle visualization. You are able to steer the beam 20 degrees in each direction. If also will eliminate anistrophy without moving the probe.
What is the advantage of having side by side image, B-mode and Doppler?
Having the ability of a simultaneous split screen with B-mode on e side and Doppler on the other will enable you to localize inflamation (synovitis) without compromising your view of anatomy.
What is the advantage of having panoramic view?
Biosound™s Vpan is a program that allows the user to acquire sequential images to produce a panoramic view of elongated structures such as tendons, ligamens and muscles.
What about 3-d?
This program allows for 3d (Height, Width, Depth) of static images.
Is it easy to optimize images?
Utilizing the musculoskeletal presets which include and are not limited to our innovative technology such as Tisse Enhanced Imaging, Speckle Reduction, Compound Imaging, Auto focus and Beam Steering. This enables the very new user of ultraosund to easily produce a high quality image.
What is the advantage of saving Clips and what is the duration?
Our clip feature is widely used for MSK applicatons. You are able to save a series of events (shoulder rotation, tendon insertion, needle guidance) of unlimited duration and edit our a singe image or partical clip for documentation.
How easy is it to add your own presets, library, reports?
They MyLab platform is fully customized. You can have an unlimited amount of presets, 100 word library that can be customized and applied by words or sentences. Full report capabilites are offered on the MyLab and/or MyLab Desk software.
How can I simplify my exam with MyLab Desk?
MyLab Desk is a propriatary intuitive interface similar to the MyLab ultrasound system, offers the user to review high quality images, create and edit reports, print images and reports to paper printers or digital files and store all studies to USB devices and office networks, all in the choice of three digital formats (MyLab, DICOM, Standard PC Graphics). Utilizing this program will expedite your workload when your physcial expam is completed.
How efficiently can I export data to my EMR?
Given the flexibility of the MyLab platfrom, exporting, archiving and retrieving informaton is effortless.
